How does seating work and what’s the difference between ticket tiers?

 

Seating is unreserved within each ticket tier and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend arriving when doors open to enjoy the widest choice of seats within your section.

 

Platinum – Front-row seating, offering the closest view of the performance and our most premium experience.

Gold – Rows 2–4, offering excellent views close to the performance.

Silver – Main central seating behind the Platinum and Gold sections, extending towards the rear of the venue.

Bronze – Side pew seating. Some seats may have a partially restricted view.

Balcony – Elevated seating offering a unique view across the venue. Please note that access is by stairs only and there is no lift.

Accessible Seating – Wheelchair-accessible spaces are available within the main seating area and are priced in line with our Silver tickets.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes. St Giles is wheelchair accessible, with dedicated wheelchair spaces available within the main seating area.

As much of the seating consists of fixed church pews, wheelchair spaces cannot be accommodated within the Platinum or Gold sections.

If you require a wheelchair space or have any additional access requirements, please let us know when booking so we can make the appropriate arrangements for your visit.

Please note that the balcony is accessed by stairs only and there is no lift.

Is there an age restriction?

​

St Giles After Dark: Cinematic is suitable for ages 8 and over. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Can I buy tickets on the door?

​

Tickets won’t be available to purchase at the venue, but online sales will remain open right up until the performance begins.

​

If you’re making last-minute plans, simply buy your ticket online and show it on your phone when you arrive.

 

Will food and drink be available?

 

A small selection of tea and coffee will be available before the performance, giving you the chance to enjoy a drink before taking your seat. Donations to the church are warmly welcomed.

 

To help us look after the building, we kindly ask that no food or drink is taken into the main church.

 

How long does the performance last?

 

Each performance lasts approximately one hour.

Doors open 45 minutes before the scheduled start time, giving you plenty of time to arrive and choose your seat within your ticket tier.

 

For guests attending the 7pm performance, we kindly ask that you make your way out of the venue promptly once the performance has finished, allowing our team time to prepare the church for the 9pm audience.

 

Are pets allowed?

 

Pets are not permitted inside the venue. Assistance dogs are, of course, welcome.
