Inspiring people of all ages to enjoy music,
build confidence and reach their potential.
Peak Music began with a simple challenge. One of our founders, Jarrod, had reached the point where he couldn’t take on any more students, yet enquiries continued to come in. Rather than turning people away, we began working with a small number of trusted tutors who shared the same passion for inspiring others through music. What started as a practical solution quickly grew into something much bigger.
Today, Peak Music is a growing community of tutors, students, performers and music lovers. Alongside one-to-one tuition, we’re creating more opportunities for people to experience music together — from workshops and live performances to new projects such as our Artist Development Program, Sing Out Loud, our youth singing group, and St Giles After Dark, our immersive live music series.
We believe music should be about more than simply learning an instrument. It can build confidence, create friendships, encourage creativity and give people opportunities to perform, collaborate and be part of something.
Whether you’re taking your very first lesson, preparing for exams, returning to music after many years, joining a group or coming along to one of our events, we want Peak Music to be a place where people can discover, develop and enjoy music in whatever way feels right for them.
What We Do.
We provide high-quality music tuition for children and adults of all ages and abilities, whether they are taking their first steps in music, working towards graded exams, developing performance skills or simply learning for enjoyment.
Our experienced tutors teach a wide range of instruments and vocal disciplines, with lessons available from our own teaching spaces, online where appropriate and through our work with local schools. We aim to make learning music supportive, enjoyable and flexible, tailoring lessons to each student’s interests, goals and pace of development.
Alongside individual tuition, we also create opportunities for students to perform, collaborate and become involved in wider musical experiences, helping them to build confidence and enjoy music beyond the lesson room.
Our Approach.
Every student is different, and that's why we don't believe in a one-size-fits-all
approach. Some students learn purely for enjoyment, others work towards graded examinations, performances, or GCSE and A-Level Music qualifications, while many simply want to build confidence and develop a lifelong love of music. Whatever your goals, our tutors tailor every lesson to suit your individual needs.
Where We Teach.
We work with students across the Staffordshire Moorlands and surrounding areas, including Cheadle, Leek, Cheddleton. Ashbourne, Uttoxeter, Stoke-on-Trent and Stone.
We continue to grow through partnerships with local schools and by welcoming new private students and tutors into the Peak Music community.
More Than Just Music.
Music doesn’t stop when the lesson ends. We want to create opportunities for people to perform, collaborate, build confidence and experience music in different ways.
Throughout the year, Peak Music brings people together through live events, group projects and performance opportunities. Our annual Summer Showcase gives students of all ages and abilities the chance to take to the stage, while Sing Out Loud gives young singers the opportunity to make music together in a fun, supportive environment.
We also support musicians who want to take their creativity further through our Artist Development Programme, helping emerging artists develop original music, record their work and take their first steps towards releasing it.
And through events such as St Giles After Dark, we're creating new live music experiences that bring performers, audiences and the wider community together.
As Peak Music has grown, so has our vision. We're continually looking for new ways to enrich our student's musical journeys through performances, workshops, collaborations and exciting new opportunities. While we continue to expand, our aim remains the same as it was from the very beginning: to provide inspirational music tuition for all ages and abilities in a welcoming. supportive and inclusive environment.
